Tuition and payments
Set weekly lesson prices and durations
Offer weekly lesson subscriptions with an explicit duration, per-session price, and number of lessons each week.
Weekly tuition is teacher-to-student billing
A weekly lesson option describes what a student or family pays your studio. It is not the monthly or yearly StudioFull plan that a teacher pays to use StudioFull.
Each weekly option stores three exact lesson terms: the lesson duration in minutes, the price for one session, and the number of lessons per week. StudioFull multiplies the per-session price by lessons per week to create the recurring weekly Stripe charge.
Example options
- 30 minutes, one lesson per week, 30 dollars per session. The weekly charge is 30 dollars.
- 45 minutes, one lesson per week, 45 dollars per session. The weekly charge is 45 dollars.
- 60 minutes, one lesson per week, 60 dollars per session. The weekly charge is 60 dollars.
Students can choose among active options when they sign up. Use separate options when duration or price differs. Do not silently convert a per-session amount into a monthly estimate, because months contain different numbers of weekly lesson dates.
Flat tuition remains available
If your studio intentionally bills one flat amount each month or year, choose the flat monthly or flat yearly option. Those plans do not claim a particular per-lesson price or duration.
